Beaufighter

The Beaufighter was a powerfully armed multi-purpose aircraft used by the RAF as a night fighter and anti-shipping aircraft. The Japanese nicknamed it "Whistling Death", either because of the quietness of its engines or because the aircrew was always leaving the door open, I'm not sure.
